Why Concise Curriculum Works:
Research shows that children retain more information when taught with an integrated approach. Children are more engaged in the lesson when skills are integrated and not isolated.
Students are instructed in three content areas at one time when using Concise Curriculum. Skills are no longer taught in isolation. ELA/reading skills are constantly reinforced during Social Studies, Math and Science instructional time. Students who have difficulty with ELA/reading skills get an extra “boost” during Social Studies/Science/Math class time.
